Are all 6832s MIJ?

Hi all!

I have an Epiphone 6832. It has a blue big E stamped after 6832, but there has never been a mike in this guitar. It has a four digit serial number. The blue data note says Union Made but not Made in USA, only the common Kalamazoo, Michigan.

The previous owner told me, decades ago, that he bought it in 1969. Now he tells me that he's not sure when he bought it.

Because of the above said, I think that my guitar is an early 6832. Q: are all Epiphone 6832s made in Japan?
