I have a 1980 VS-600 (they reversed the model designation).
It's even nicer looking and plays as slick as whale snot (to quote a Kiwi friend of the forum)
I expect this earlier version to be a good player as well, and if the price stays where it is currently it'll be a good buy for someone as well!
