AP2 CS-Deluxe
Pretty sure this has been posted before. Looks to be an 84+ CS-Deluxe. A bit weathered but the price is right. Gloss black finish is probably the easiest to repair. It wouldn't be there if I didn't already have two CS-350s. Comes with HSC as well. Someone needs to snag this before my GAS gets the better of me. My Wife is starting to roll her eyes and she's noticed more boxes keep appearing on the back porch.
1 week and I would have it looking almost new. Maybe $20 invested in paint and new screws all around. I still have all the buffing tools and compounds.

Why don't sellers ever clean the *&%$#'g dirt off their guitars before posting pictures?!
You would never think of selling a car covered in mud and bird poop!
I can't imagine playing it in that condition either.
The only redeeming factor is that the price is reasonable, if you're American, otherwise not so much with exchange, duty, and shipping

Re: AP2 CS-Deluxe
I've never understood trying to sell a filthy guitar, and worse too often asking top dollar. There again this is a pawn shop and most pawn shop employees/owners only know one thing about guitars. The Blue Book value.
You probably wouldn't be surprised how many guitars I've bought that came with a healthy dose of finger scum on the fingerboard. That REALLY grosses me out! For all I know the PO could have squeezed one off right before they played it last.
First thing to come out is the rubbing alcohol, especially when I can see where on the fingerboard they played the most.
Canada REALLY hates imports. Even more so the little guy that only wants to buy ONE guitar, not a container full.

Re: AP2 CS-Deluxe
In my years at the guitar shop I came across my fair share of filthy guitars, in for a "setup"!
You cannot even begin to do anything before you scrape off the crud and try to locate the darn instrument.
I remember one disgusting fret board that was so bad it made me physically gag from the smell!
Took several applications of soapy water with toothbrush to get it to the point where you could actually scrape the wood. Nasty stuff.
If the owner lives like that you can only imagine the overall hygiene in his house!

Well, it is at a pawn shop so it figures. Probably some tweaker pawned it for dope money.
The worst I ever had was an acoustic a friend of mine used gigging. A patron at the bar puked all over and in it. I told him to give it a decent burial, I wasn't touching it.

Can't top that one, except to say someone brought in an old classical guitar that had literally been left in a barn hayloft for God knows how long.
Since I was part-time, the owner would routinely accept the incoming instruments and stack 'em up for my arrival next day. This one I could smell before I saw it!
Honestly, it was full of straw, mouse droppings, and stank of pee!
That's the closest I came to hurling on a guitar!
Why he took that one in is beyond me. Retail biz was slow at the time, but sheesh!
Nursed a grudge for a long time afterwards!

I used to have one just like this. Nice guitar but you can always tell the newer ones because the neck is set into the body too far.
That and the small lower cutout make it very difficult to reach the upper frets.

Re: AP2 CS-Deluxe
I'm not a fan of that heel configuration either. There was even a difference between the 82 and 83 CS-350s. A bit more heel on the 83. But, not enough to make it more difficult to play. I can't really tell the difference when playing them but you can see it.
Re: AP2 CS-Deluxe
To be fair, it is rare to need the last four frets very much but, it was not fun on that guitar.
There were a few times I had to grab my RS600 for certain songs.
There's NO problem reaching all 24 on that thing.
