Re: Quest Black Magic Strat

"non players"? In most cases I think this is trying to avoid to be held responsible of all the issues the instrument has... they forgot to mention.

Re: Electra Omega X220

With all the work waiting... shouldn't pay too much for this.

Actually when someone asked... I haven't bought a guitar since February 2015. Unfortunately I also didn't let go of any guitar since....

Re: Aria Pro II ES Style Custom Natural 1980

What I see is an ES (most likely 800) with switched out electronics... same as you could order your PE with DiMarzio pickups.

I don't think the toggle on the horn is stock... if stock, it wouldn't have been a coil split.

Re: Electra Omega X220

At least they mentioned a number of the problems the guitar has up front... instead of claiming "I'm no expert, but looks OK".

Anyway, if the high e-string catches on the fret ends, the bridge might be in the wrong place.

Got to love the saddles on the CS-350... has someone tried to intonate a guitar when the saddles are mounted with an angle? :o

Re: ZZ Custom

Funny about the ZZ... they are either completely beaten up... or almost pristine... when sold these days. My guess... some people really love to play those... while others simply can't get used to this shape and wonder why they ever bought it. I fall into the later category (even so I like odd ...

Re: Aria Pro II Strikin' Sound -1979 (CAN)

My tinnitus is thanks to a drummer, who thought it's fun to beat his crash when my ears are closest to it. This happened while we were setting up (not even sound check or actually playing)... whatever he thought he's doing. Anyway, his crash was exactly 1800 Hz... since 30 years I don't hear ...

Re: Un-Branded LP - Similar to Ibanez 2398

I bought my first electric guitar in a small music shop in Wiesbaden (Germany)... a Cimar Strat copy. I confirmed a couple of years ago, that the guitar was made by Fujigen. Actually my first three electric guitars were made by Fujigen... but then I always wanted to have a PE-R80.... :D

The price is very good considering that they don't show up too often: CAD$475 -No case. No mention of shipping.
