I'm sure that's an adventure with them skewed like that. I've replaced them with Strat Plus saddles and longer height screws and that worked like a charm.

I'm guessing the fingerboard has shrunk over time. One of the things my customers with vintage guitars complained about was fret sprout when in fact the fingerboard had not been treated properly in years. I can't tell for sure but it looks like the nut has slipped toward the treble side of the ...

What annoys me is they are pricing these guitars as if they were all original.

I'd love to have a trans blue as well. Just not at those prices. I currently have 3 CS-350s and a CS-250.

And they used all three hype words. Matsumoku, Vintage and Rare.

They go strictly by the Blue Book but often have no freaking idea what they are looking at or how to assess it's condition. I think the prerequisite for store ownership is you can read and tried to play bass. First is what was ONCE a CS-250 but has since lost all it's original value due to the mods ...

Yeah, some of these listings are done by non-players, I see similar on eBay by yard sale scroungers.

It has it's battle scars and definitely needs some TLC and maybe a box of Band-Aids. I think the selector switch would be fine with a little Viagra.

Could stand a little TLC.
